Is what it is.

This originally was a comment back to people but because a post. Here ya go.

First off, one thing I don't want this blog to become is a place where people accuse and argue and get all up under each others skin and stuff. I know that may be difficult when talking about certain topics such as these but please understand the main reason and purpose for this blog is to search deeper into truth, encourage one another to chase god, and to bring up topics which we can all struggle with, find the answer, and to own it in our faith and our walks.

oook. so, THANK YOU everyone for commenting I hope we all get something out of it. I don't wish to touch too much on whether someone in the ministry has encouraged certain people to not attend foothills or not because like I said I really don't want this blog to become a place of accusations. I have my opinions on if that happened or not, and ya'll can have your own opinions. Lets not discuss it here and rather if it remains to eat at ya'll, talk to the people directly involved, one on one, and there we go k?

Sweet.

One question I do have, mainly as reaction to Brians comment, yet id love it if everyone gave their own input as well. For that reason i believe ill make this a completely new blog, hoping that you guys will comment on it. WOW a lot of background info, I'm sorry haha. So I'll agree that there are people that go to church in a way of being selfish about it, "picking and choosing", all them goods. I'll even admit to being one of those people a lot of the time in the sense that I really don't serve too much anymore. At church. I think I try and justify it in my mind because I work at C28 where I preach the gospel and serve all the time. I end up fixing it in my head that I should take the time to relax when I have a break in my schedule, rather than to serve at my church. So guys, what's your opinion? This is something i have been thinking about and would like your suggestions. I do have deep relationships with a few, which in my opinion is better than a buuuunch. So its not like I go to a church that I'm completely detached from you know?

Any-who, the main thought I want to bring up and find the answer to is.... is it so wrong to go to a place or multiple places, be it groups or churches, that you go to only to hear god, learn about god, worship god, and at the same time you don't give, you don't serve, and you don't establish DEEP relationships. Is that wrong? What do you all think? More importantly what does the bible say about this? Are we as christians meant to stay loyal to a home church?

From my understanding the church is not a building, it's not the people with in a certain building, it's not under any human leaders. The church is the body of christ. The church is the people right? The church is all the believers united as one under the rule of the father. To me what we call churches, foothills, journey, skyline, cross point, those are all fellowships, and every single one makes up the church.

Alright I'm rambling. Comment on any of my questions and also even comment on anything i've said. You don't have to comment on just the questions, feel free to say anything. But I encourage you and will do myself to search after this and see where lines up in the bible. Lets discuss it!!!

Just a lil more...

So by the way guys that last post wasn't originally what I wanted it to be on. It just evolved into that on its own. It became a lil more general in its topic than i wanted. But I'll be posting another one soon once I have time and hopefully it wont be as general. Laterrrr.

finally

It's taken me forever to blog huh? I know it but I'm always busy with many things haha.

Alright so, to tell ya what's been on my mind...

The other day this couple came into my work (c28) and I began talking to them about where they go to church. The man answers me, " I pastor a church" long story short, I find out that this man is a church planter and his passion, his vision, is to get churches back to the way paul and peter set out for them to be. You see, the man said, "churches nowadays go by the, you get yours I'll get mine type of system" meaning that much of the churches vision is to get more members, be more popular, or more well known. My opinion... I agree with the man. I've grew up in "the church" all my life and I've met sooooo many people from so many different churches. One thing I find common in almost everyone of these people, they always encourage you to go to THEIR church. See, what I've seen so much is that people and churches compete with each other. Why is it that people want you to go to THEIR church only? I've been attending two different churches for a while now, Journey and Foothills, along with some of my other friends from Journey and I hear that some people don't find that to be a good idea. But why??? I can understand that a church can be afraid of loosing one of their members but does it really matter if that member starts going to another church where their going to be more fed? It shouldn't, leaders goals should be more to share love and encourage people to get to know their creator, rather than compete in numbers with other churches.

I'm just saying that I think "the church" has lost some of its original purpose. What do you say?

It's coming I promise

Hey guys,

I know that I still haven't done a post yet, but I promise you it's on it's way. I started to write one today but I need to read through it, add to it, and check scriptures on it so I saved it as a draft. So I promise I'll get it up here. It may be a while due to the fact I'm almost always busy.

New? basically

So I was planning on getting an entirely new blogspot but then decided that I can try and reset my password that I had forgotten for this blog.

I'm still considering this a "new blog" though because I changed pretty much everything on it. Anyhow, I don't really have time right now to post a blog on what I would normally want to post it on.

One thing I really want out of this blog though is to get feedback on some of the blogs i post. Whether it be by commenting on the blog, texting me, or talking to me personally about it, i truly don't care what form its done in. I would just like feedback.

I think the main reason why i want feedback is because that was one of the factors keeping me from getting a blogger. Because an author of a blog will go on about this or that and sometimes never get any opinions on something they posted. You see, I want to be able to address certain feelings and opinions of mine and have them be open to conversation.

I think I've  started to ramble and explain a little too much haha. Anyways guys, comment, talk with me about my blogs, let me and any others who are willing to listen hear your voice.
